Overview
Bloomberg Media wanted to refresh their brand platform around the idea that “Context Changes Everything.” This shift led our team to develop a new design system for use across all of Bloomberg’s verticals, including updates to grid, logo, typography, color, photography, and motion.

Logo SystemA two-part logo system built from the Bloomberg B: the Solid B, used for impact on images, backgrounds, and social assets, and the Window B, a contextual frame that holds imagery to amplify headline


TypeNeue Haas Grotesk first entered Bloomberg through Richard Turley’s 2010 redesign of Businessweek. It has since become central to Bloomberg’s broader identity, giving the brand a sharp, confident voice.


MotionMotion played a central role in expressing Bloomberg’s strategic direction. It became a way to reveal context with intention, underscoring the brand’s point of view and guiding how stories unfold.
