OverviewMcDonald’s partnered with Studio Pierrot to bring WcDonald’s to life through an anime series. We transformed the iconic arches and designed four episodes that took audiences on a playful adventure in search of the WcDonald’s sauce, exploring storytelling, character, and visual identity in a bold, creative way.

Logo
For decades, McDonald’s has been playfully bootlegged in over 20 anime series, most famously by flipping the arches to create “WcDonald’s.” We
developed a custom logo that embraced this playful tradition.
Episode PostersFor each episode, I created a poster that captured its unique anime trope, translating the visual style and elements of the episode into a standalone design.
PackagingPackaging design developed in collaboration with Studio Pierrot and artist Acky Bright, transforming the bag into a manga that reflected the anime-inspired nature of the campaign.
